Yoona to Graduate and Receive Special Award from Dongguk University

It has just been announced that Girls’ Generation member Yoona will be graduating on February 24.

Yoona will receive her diploma on February 24 from Dongguk University, where she was admitted in 2009.

Yoona majored in theater and film studies within Dongguk’s College of Arts and Drama alongside fellow Girls’ Generation member Seohyun, who graduated last August.

Along with her diploma, Yoona will be awarded a Lifetime Achievement Award to commemorate her contributions to the university and to her field of work.

Yoona has previously been awarded for her work at Dongguk, having received the Minister of Culture, Sports, and Tourism Award in 2010 and the Prime Minister’s Award for Exemplary Behavior and Active Outreach in 2011.
