Super Junior’s Leeteuk, EXO’s Suho to Sing 2016 Olympic Cheer Song

The next song for SM Entertainment‘s digital music channel “SM Station” will be released on June 30th, and will be the cheering song for the upcoming summer Olympics.

“My Hero” will be Korea’s national song for the “2016 Rio De Janeiro Olympics”, sang by Super Junior’s leader Leeteuk and EXO’s leader Suho, together with rookie singer Kassy, 23 Korean athletes, and the participation of famous producer Joo Yeongsu and pianist Moon Jeongjae.

By including not only Leeteuk, Suho, and Kassy, but also up to 30 musicians playing drum, bass, etc., the music video aims to deliver the message, “To the athletes that are making our dreams come true, we are all cheering for you”. Moreover, with the appearance of previous Olympic athletes like Lee Euncheol, Im Okyeong, Shim Kwonho, etc, “My Hero” is also expected to give courage and hope to the athletes competing in this year’s Olympics.

SM has also released a music video teaser, which you can check out below, and don’t forget to stay tuned to MoonROK for more updates!
