Shinhwa slated to have a special performance on SBS Inkigayo’s 800th episode.
Shinhwa will perform for the 800th episode just before making their comeback with their 12th full length album after a year and nine months at the end of February.
The 25th of this month marks Inkigayo’s 800th episode since the show’s first airing in 1998, and the special episode will feature impressive stages from many prominent singers.
Shinhwa was chosen not only because they also had their debut in 1998 with “The Solver,” but also because they are unique in that during their 17 year long career, they have had no member changes or break ups, making them role models for other singers and groups. This special 800th episode will allow them to take the stage with other, younger artists in celebration and show an extraordinary stage.
Shinhwa’s comeback in February is planned to show the powerful performance skills that can only come from being a seasoned performer.
A representative of Shinhwa Company Entertainment stated, “Shinhwa, who debuted the same year Inkigayo began airing episodes, will give a moving performance for the 800th episode. Shinhwa will show the best performance possible to celebrate the 17 years and 800 episode since then until now. Please anticipate this stage and also the upcoming new album release.”
