SHINee’s 3rd full length Japanese album I’m Your Boy was released in full in Korea in the 1st of October.
SHINee’s shining album was released on music sites such as Melon, Genie, Naver Music, and others, and reached the top spot on Oricon’s weekly music chart. It even garnered huge amounts of popularity among the Korean fans.
The album includes title song “Downton Baby,” their Japanese single hits “Boys Meet U,” “Lucky Star,” and “321,” Japanese versions of the Korean hit songs “Everybody” and “Dream Girl,” and new songs “Picasso,” “365,” “Perfect 10,” and others to make up a 12 song album of various genres.
On the 24th, the album ranked first place on Oricon’s daily music charts and again on the weekly chart. SHINee’s abnormally quick rise to the top of the charts is building excitement for the group and the album.
Oricon’s news homepage site stated, “Korean boy group SHINee makes their first appearance on the weekly charts with first place for I’m Your Boy. TVXQ’s album Tree, which reached the number one spot on March 17th, is the only other Korean boy group to have done so.”
SHINee’s current Japanese tour, “SHINee WORLD 2014 ~I’m Your Boy~” will take place on the 1st in Gunma, and then continue on to other cities such as Tokyo, Osaka, Kobe, Nagoya, Hukuoka, and more for a totally of twenty cities and thirty concerts before finally ending on December 14th.
