MC Mong to Make First Comeback in 5 Years; Baek Jiyoung, Ailee, Hyorin and More to Feature

It has just been announced that MC Mong, who has been absent from the entertainment industry for the past five years, will be making his big comeback in early November.

With the release date set for November 3rd, MC Mong’s comeback album will feature such impressive artists as Baek Jiyoung, Hyorin, and Lee Sunhee.

MC Mong’s management company, DreamTea Entertainment, official stated, “MC Mong will be coming back with a full album on November 3rd for the first time in 5 years.”

The statement continued, “His first full album since his fifth album in 2009, MC Mong’s new album will feature Lee Sunhee, Gary, Baek Jiyoung, Huh Gak, Hyorin, Ailee, and other senior and junior collaborators in the music industry.”

One of the agency’s representatives stated, “Since this is his first album in 5 years, [MC Mong’s] fellow artists are supporting him. The comeback is currently at a state of 80% preparedness, and the release date has been slower than planned due to the fact that MC Mong is working so hard to make good music.”

MC Mong debuted in 1998 with the group “People Crew,” and since 2010 has been laying low due to reports that he paid his dentist to remove his teeth in order to avoid enrolling in South Korea’s mandatory military service.
