The manager who was driving girl group Ladies’ Code when their fatal crash took place has been sentenced to imprisonment.
On January 15, the Suwon District Court judge charged the accused and arrest manager of Ladies’ Code with violation of the Act on Traffic Accident Special Cases.
The judge stated, “We recognize that the statute of the conviction is acknowledged. It was taken into account that the convicted has acknowledged and relfected on his wrong-doing, is a first time offender, had car insurance, etc. Due to the accident two victims suffered, but the survivors could did not reach an agreement on any compensation.”
As a result of the sentence, the manager will serve 1 year and 2 months in jail for his responsibility for the car crash that caused the tragic deaths of RiSe and EunB.
The manager was speeding at 135 kmph through 100 kmph and 80 kmph speed zones on a rainy day, resulting in the fatal accident.
