Kai Unable to Perform in Remaining ‘EXO’rDIUM’ Concerts Due to Ankle Injury

Sad news for EXO fans attending the group’s “EXO’rDIUM” concert his coming weekend: due to a serious ankle injury, Kai will be unable to perform with the group.

Last weekend, Kai suffered an injury to his leg in the midst of a performance, leaving him unable to properly carry on with the stage, and now it seems that he will not be able to perform at all.

A representative from SM Entertainment told the media just now, “We are writing to let all of the fans who have shown so much love to ‘EXO PLANET #3 The EXO’rDIUM’ know something. Due to an ankle injury he sustained during the first round of the concert series, EXO member Kai will not be able to perform in the second round of shows. We hope that the fans will understand, and we ask for your encouragement so that Kai can recover as quickly as possible.”

Unfortunate news for EXO fans attending the concert this weekend in Seoul, but here’s to hoping for a speedy recovery for the group’s lead dancer.
