iKON to Drop Warm-Up Single, Employ Staggered Release Schedule for Full-Length Album

It looks like iKON is following suit with the likes of groups like BIGBANG and Girls’ Generation.

The group has just announced that they will be releasing their album in three parts, kicking off their debut with a “warm-up” single and music video to be released on September 15.

The group will then release their full album in two waves, dropping the first 6 songs on October 1, and the remaining 6 songs on November 12.

It looks like all that waiting has paid off, because with this type of release strategy the group will be promoting for at least two months straight.
