Girls’ Generation’s Japan Album ‘The Best’ Stays Strong on Oricon Chart

Girls’ Generation seems to have an impressive hold on the Japanese Oricon chart with their compilation album “The Best” still sitting at #2 on teh Oricon chart.

According to the Oricon chart, as of October 29th the album sold 16,310 in just one day, jumping the group up two spots from #4 to #2 on the weekly albums chart.

Girls’ Generation released their compilation of hits “The Best” album in July, and recently released a repackaged version featuring a new single, “Divine,” on October 15th, accounting for their consistently strong presence on the Oricon charts.
