It looks like Girl’s Day and Ailee may be seeing a lot more of each other around the office from now on.

It has just been announced that the CEO of DreamT Entertainment, Lee Jong-Suk, has bought out a 41% shareholder’s stake in YMC Entertainment, effectively allowing him to take the reigns on the company.

In a statement made by a DreamT Entertainment representative just now, the representative stated, “Girl’s Day’s company, DreamT Entertainment, has acquired a 41% stake and management rights for Ailee, Wheesung, Shin Bora, and Jessi’s agency, YMC Entertainment.” The representative continued, “DreamT Entertainment’s parent company, Well Made Yedang, has also acquired a 39% shareholder’s stake in YMC Entertainment.”

DreamT Entertainment was founded in 2009 as MC Mong‘s management company, and has continued to grow by signing Girl’s Day since. Meanwhile, YMC Entertainment’s roster incudes Ailee, Wheesung, Shin Bora, Baechigi, Lucky J, Jessi, and more.
