CL Pops Off with Parris Goebel and New Zealand’s ReQuest Dance Crew in MV for ‘Hello Bitches’

The baddest female is back.

After teasing an American debut for more than a year now, CL is finally making moves stateside.

The 2NE1 member has just released the music video for her new street single “Hello Bitches“, and it is absolute fire.

The music video is a performance based one choreographed by the world renowned Parris Goebel and ReQuest dance crew, who most recently choreographed and performed in multiple music videos for Justin Bieber‘s new album “Purpose“.

The lyrics of “Hello Bitches” are also notably bilingual — CL sings and raps in both Korean and English, a bold and decidely authentic choice for a Korean artist making their way into the American mainstream.

The music video debuted on Noisey this morning, accompanied by a lengthy interview in which CL states that this is not her official debut single, but “more of a street single.” The singer continues, “I wanted to give a little surprise video to excite the fans who have been waiting while I prepare for my solo album. Since I am Korean, it’s a good way of presenting me and it’s for everyone around the world to see where I am from and to keep it authentic.”
