2NE1, who announced their disbandment back in November, will be releasing one final album as a three member group later this month.
A YG Entertainment representative stated today, “Because the disbandment was so sudden and there was no way to say a final goodbye to the fans, the members wanted to express their feelings about it through song. 2NE1 has fans both in Korea and overseas who have shown them so much love, so this song and album will be one final greeting to all of them.”
Member Minzy, who left the group well before the disbandment was announced, will not be included in this final album, but that CL, Dara, and Bom have finished recording and even recorded a music video outside of Korea. The title track is called “Goodbye.”
The group announced their disbandment on the 25th of November, and only members CL and Dara re-signed with YG Entertainment, and will be continuing on as solo artists.
Teasers and more information about this final album are sure to come out soon, so stick around moonROK for all the latest Kpop updates!
