During the broadcast, Taeyeon asked Yoona what happened to her previously blond hair, to which Yoona cheekily responded, “Because my passport doesn’t last for very long” indicating that she needs a new passport picture.
She then followed up more seriously saying, “It’s because I had other schedules. Plus being blond, it’s kind of hard to walk around outside”, indicating that Yoona did not like that her blond hair drew too much attention to herself in public.
Yoona’s appearance on the app’s live broadcast also drew attention from netizens due to the fact that she and actor/singer Lee Seunggi were recently reported to have broken up after dating for more than a year and a half.
While the question asked wasn’t explicitly about Lee Seunggi, Yoona was asked how she has been doing lately leading up to the release of Girls’ Generation’s new single, “Lion Heart“. Due to the recent media attention on their now ex status, netizens were curious as to whether she would address the relationship.
However, Yoona tactfully and diplomatically answered the question by saying, “I was preparing really hard for ‘Lion Heart’ and ‘You Think'”.
Girls’ Generation just released “Lion Heart” a few hours ago, and will be releasing their second title single “You Think” at midnight KST tonight, so be sure to stick around moonROK for more updates as they roll in.
