Stage Name: Seohyun (서현) Birth Name: Seo Ju Hyun (서주현) Birthday: June 28, 1991 Hometown: Seoul, South Korea Nationality: Korean Debut: August 5, 2007 Position: Lead Vocalist, Maknae Seohyun is the youngest member of the SM Entertainment Kpop group Girls' Generation. Seohyun played piano from a young age, and in fifth grade was spotted on the subway by an SM Entertainment talent scout. She auditioned for the company by singing nursery rhymes, and was accepted as a trainee. Seohyun officially debuted as part of Girls' Generation in August of 2007 and since has not only been active as a singer with the group, but also as an actress and TV personality. In 2012 she appeared opposite CNBLUE member Yonghwa on the popular reality series We Got Married, which earned both idols popularity amongst the public as the "Goguma couple." In 2012, Seohyun formed a unit called TaeTiSeo alongside fellow SNSD members Taeyeon and Tiffany. The trio debuted with "Twinkle," which was met with immense success both in Korea and abroad. In 2013, Seohyun took on her very first acting role in the drama Passionate Love. The next year, Seohyun starred in her first musical Moon Embracing the Sun and has since landed starring roles in the musicals Gone With the Wind and Mamma Mia. In 2016 Seohyun starred alongside EXO member Chanyeol in the Chinese film So I Married an Anti-Fan, and accepted a supporting role in the highly-anticipated Korean drama Moon Lovers: Scarlet Heart Ryeo. Seohyun attended Dongguk University, graduating with an achievement award in 2014.
