Rosé is a main vocalist in YG Entertainment's newest girl group, BLACKPINK.  Rosé became a trainee at YG in 2012 after placing first in the company's Australian auditions. Unlike her fellow BLACKPINK members, Rosé was kept mostly under wraps during her pre-debut days. She featured on G-Dragon's song "Without You", but was credited as "? of New YG Girl Group".

Rosé debuted with BLACKPINK in August 2016 and has been actively promoting with the group since.
