Jisoo is a main vocalist in YG Entertainment's newest girl group, BLACKPINK. Jisoo joined YG Entertainment as a trainee in 2011, and during her training period appeared in a number of YG artists' music videos, including Epik High's "Spoiler" and Hi Suhyun's "I'm Different". Jisoo also appeared briefly in the Korean drama The Producers prior to her debut.

Jisoo debuted with BLACKPINK in August 2016 after five years of training, and is currently active with the group.
