VIXX member Ken has announced that he will be starring in the upcoming musical adaptation of “Boys Over Flowers.”

“Boys Over Flowers” was originally a manga in Japan, which eventually made its way over to Korea in the form of a hit television series in 2009 starring Lee Minho and Goo Hyesun. Ken will be playing Lee Minho’s character, Goo Junpyo, who is the leader of a group of rich bullies called the F4, and the main love interest. BTOB’s Changseob will also be starring in the musical.

Ken has acted in the musicals “Chess” and “Cinderella,” and has shown his vocals talents outside of VIXX’s activities by appearing on programs such as “King of Mask Singer” and singing an OST for the current hit drama, “Legend of the Blue Sea.”

“Boys Over Flowers” will open next month on the 24th and run until May 7th at the Hongdae University Art Center Theatre.
