Starship Entertainment Makes Moves in China, Partners with Yuehua Entertainment

It was announced today that Starship Entertainment, home of SISTAR, K.Will, Boyfriend, and others, will be partnering with China’s biggest entertainment agency, Yuehua Entertainment.

The two companies signed a mutual management contract today, signaling their joint entry into the overall Asian market.

In a statement today, a Starship representative said, “On March 6 we signed a mutual management contract with Yuehua Entertainment. Through the contract that both companies signed, our artists will be managed and plan to release and promote albums, broadcasts, dramas, movies, and other various releases in both countries.”

The representative continued, “As China’s best entertainment company, partnering with Yuehua Entertainment has the advantage of their manufacturing and marketing skills; we are going to accelerate entry into China. We are sure that both companies’ synergistic cooperation will build a bridge to beyond the East Asian market and into the global market.”
