RiSe of Ladies Code Hospitalized in Intensive Care Unit After 11-Hour Operation

RiSe of girl group Ladies’ Code, who was in a car accident on a rainy road on September 3rd, went through a long operation and is now in the intensive care unit.

An associate of Ajou University Hospital in Suwon told OSEN that “Kwon RiSe has gone through an operation and is now in the intensive care unit … We are paying attention to how the patient is doing, but cannot confirm for you her exact state.”

The surgical operation took 11 hours, from 2 a.m. to 1 p.m. on the day of the accident. Apparently several big consecutive surgeries took place.

Ladies Code had wrapped up their schedule in Daegu and were returning to Seoul when their car hit a guardrail near Suwon around 1:30 a.m. One member, EunB, lost her life in this accident.

Ladies Code is a 5-member girl group who debuted in March last year with their first mini album, “CODE#01 Bad Girl.” The group caught the attention of many, as it included RiSe, who appeared in MBC’s audition program “The Great Birth of a Star,” and Sojung, who appeared in Mnet’s “Voice Korea.”

Ladies Code had released a popular digital single “So Wonderful,” and started working actively after their new album “Kiss Kiss” came out on August 7th.

moonROK wishes RiSe and the others involved in the crash a speedy recovery.
