Starship Entertainment‘s new hip-hop boy group, MONSTA X, has just announced that they will be making their official debut on May 14.
The group was formed on the Mnet survival audition program “NO MERCY” in December of last year, and has been working hard since their selection for their debut.
The hip-hop group, comprised of the seven members Juheon, Syeonu, Kihyun, Hyungwon, Wonho, Minhyuk, and I.M, will also hold a media showcase on May 13 prior to their debut.
A representative from Starship Entertainment stated, “MONSTA X’s debut album contains music that is both legitimate and has idol identity; it is something that will be popular and embraceable by the youth. MONSTA X will be imprinted on this album that exhibits the power of youth’s chaos and lawlessness, the organic strength of hip-hop within whose rhythm pop is rolled into, and even the analysis of emotional change through R&B.”
Again, MONSTA X will be dropping their debut album on May 14, so be sure to stick around moonROK for more updates on the group in the coming weeks.
