KARA Goes #1 on Oricon Chart for the First Time Since Youngji Joined

It has just been announced that KARA‘s newest Japanese single, “Summergic“, has risen to the #1 spot on the Oricon daily singles chart.

The song was released just yesterday on May 5, and has since sold 28,000 copies in Japan.

This is the first single that KARA has relased in Japan since Youngji joined the group last year, and it looks like even with a new member lineup, KARA still has #1 starpower in Japan.

Congratulations to the group on their chart success! If you haven’t yet, check out KARA’s music video for “Summergic” below, and stick around moonROK for more updates on your favorite idols and artists.
