Hyoyeon to Feature on Taeyeon’s Upcoming Solo Album ‘Why’

Girls’ Generation‘s lead dancer is teaming up with the group’s lead singer for “Why“: that’s right, Hyoyeon is featuring on Taeyeon‘s new album.

Girls’ Generation’s “dancing queen” will show special support for her group leader’s solo comeback by featuring on one of Taeyeon’s tracks from her forthcoming “Why” album entitled “Up & Down”.

“Up & Down” is reportedly an upbeat dance song with strong brass sound, featuring a powerful rap verse by Hyoyeon towards the end of the track. Not only will Hyoyeon be contributing a rap feature, but she’ll also be singing the chorus alongside Taeyeon, which will guarantee an explosive reaction from the fans.

Including her title song “Why”—a trendy tropical house pop track, Taeyeon will showcase her powerful vocal through a total of 7 songs of different genres on her new mini album. With such diversity, “Why” is expected to garner interest not only from Korean fans but also from fans from all over the world.

Taeyeon’s second mini album “Why” is set to drop on June 28th, so be sure to stick around MoonROK for more details on the upcoming release.
