Idol group GOT7 has decided to take on the challenge of acting.
On the 1st, JYP Entertainment stated, “GOT7 will make their acting debut in a drama produced by JYP Pictures and Youku Tudou.”
Youku Tudou is the most influential video platform in China that is used by over 450 million users.
Earlier this year, JYP Pictures teamed up with Youku Tudou to produce GOT7’s reality show “I GOT7.”
With all the buzz from the production and broadcast of “I GOT7,” there is a lot of anticipation for another co-production by the two companies.
This online fantasy romance drama combines music and dance and is about dreams, love and friendship. GOT7 plays the role of a group of mysterious guys with super powers who suddenly appear to protect the female lead.
The drama is scheduled to air in the latter half of 2014 on Youku Tudou.
