EXO‘s 2nd full-length album “EXODUS” has proven to be a formidable force both at home in Korea and overseas since its March 30 release last week.
Over the past week, the Korean version and Chinese version of the album have occupied the #1 and #2 spots respectively on various digital music sales sites including the Hanteo Chart, Yes 24, and more.
All in all, EXO has sold at least 500,000 copies of the album in the form of online orders alone, maintaining their reputation as the ‘Record Kings’ of K-pop.
The album continues to remain atop the charts in Korea, China, Taiwan, and other nations as well, leaving fans and industry experts alike wondering if EXO will be able to beat out their “XOXO” sales record of 1 million albums.
In just a week the group is already halfway to a million, so be sure to stick around moonROK to find out if they will go platinum for a second time.
