EXO‘s new album is already flying off shelves, and it’s not even on them yet.
Known for their record-breaking album sales, the announcement that boy group phenom EXO has already sold 660,180 copies of their forthcoming album should come as no surprise.
In a statement made by SM Entertainment this morning, a representative from the company said, “EXO’s album ‘EX’ACT,’ which drops on June 9, has sold 660,180 copies in pre-orders (442,890 copies in Korea, 217,290 copies in China). This is the highest number of pre-orders EXO has ever achieved.”
EXO’s first two albums both surpassed 1 million copies in sales, and based on their pre-order numbers, it seems that the group is well on their way to becoming a three time million-seller.
The group’s new album “EX’ACT” and the music videos for their two singles “Lucky One” and “Monster” all drop on June 9 (that’s tomorrow folks), so be sure to stick around MoonROK for the drop and updates on EXO’s triple million seller status.
